About
Cg Pawtography
Hi Everyone, I'm Carla Granados, the Photographer and Creator of Cg Pawtography. I've pretty much always loved taking photos and it started with my grandmother, then my mother who would be taking photos of family events. Well people were not my forte, I personally turned to the four legged friends.

I've spent most of my life in the veterinary medicine field which is where I realized what exactly makes me happy. Taking those profile pictures for medical charts of pets wasn't just a photo to me; it had to show a smile, it had to show they were comfortable. As social media grew, well taking photos of patients also did, to send to the owners to ease their mind, a picture says a thousand words.

In 2016, my fiance encouraged me to push through the next stage in my life. I bought my first ever real DSLR Canon. The only model I wanted to photograph was my first dog I had ever adopted in 2008,Lucky, my rescue Bichon Frise. He was the Yin to my Yang you can say which is why my logo is black and white and the icon is his paw.

Now Two Toned Tony, our rescue cat from New Orleans, takes the center of the lens. Adopted at 3 months old in 2017, he's managed to full fill his destiny in our life and in front of the lens.
Our newest addition of Kaya, the terrier mix rescue pup, has also joined Two Toned Tony in modeling. She's filling my lens with her silly grin and wet nose all the time but in the non studio area.
I like to think the natural exposure of working with pets in the animal shelters to the hospital clinical settings for over 12 years has helped me build my my animal behavioral skills to helped me capture some amazing images.
When I'm not photographing pets, I'm either hanging with my family, baking snacks or outside somewhere photographing.
